a greek cross formed 4 barrel-vaulted arms of same length project center bay. small bays covered groin vaults (ceilings made of 2 barrel vaults) intersect @ right angles give building rectangular shape. bays fill in cross one-story high , low-level of illumination subordinate them greek cross.
