mucosal prolapse
rectal mucosal prolapse (mucosal prolapse, anal mucosal prolapse) sub-type of rectal prolapse, , refers abnormal descent of rectal mucosa through anus. different internal intussusception (occult prolapse) or complete rectal prolapse (external prolapse, procidentia) because these conditions involve full thickness of rectal wall, rather mucosa (lining).
