3-321 far traces lineage battery c, 321st field artillery, organized on 2 september 1917 @ camp gordon, georgia. after training @ camp gordon until may 1918, battery shipped france, , participated regiment in st. mihiel, meuse argonne , lorraine 1918 campaigns. following armistice, battery redeployed united states , demobilized @ camp dix, new jersey in may 1919.
