in 1997, lowe released debut album, dreamcatcher. performed live mix year @ first thames river festival, accompanied record breaking tightrope walk across river.


his single you...? under name touch , go top 3 hit in uk in 1998 , hit in rest of europe in 1999. album ve noticed around spawned more hit singles in eastern europe , russia. straight...to number 1 chosen apple launch itunes site in usa, every track on album has been used in films, television and/or commercials.

in 1999, lowe created famous compositions, current bbc news themes. whilst previous themes had been orchestral, these new themes made extensive use of pips used on hour on bbc radio stations, along more electric sounds. since 1999 themes have been remixed numerous times bbc news in uk international channel, bbc world news. 2 cds of lowe s music have been released bbc. bbc world: music, released in 2000 or 2001, compilation of of lowe s work bbc world, made available after significant demand viewers.


television

david lowe s first television composition 1983 title music bbc midlands today, followed in 1988 bbc wales today , went bbc birmingham , midlands today again in 1992, creating title music both midlands today , pebble mill.


his work on other british television programmes includes 1 show, countryfile, panorama, cash in attic, wildlife on 1 , wild show (all on bbc one), grand designs on channel 4, , channel 5 motoring programme fifth gear. has created musical identities for: bbc worldwide, bbc entertainment, al arabiya channel , abu dhabi tv in middle east, ndtv in india, tv2 in norway, , in 2013 cctv 1 china. radio produced current identity bbc world service, , bbc arabic radio.


through website, lowe has released compilations of of television soundtracks. tv chill mix variety of different programmes, whilst grand designs features full-length arrangement of main theme, , other music channel 4 series. both produced after interest viewers, including request 1 have grand designs music played @ wedding.
