the site of park had 2 different levels; of park built in old bed , banks of biévre river, covered over. gréber merged 2 different styles; lower part of park picturesque, lake, stream, false rocks, groves of trees, winding paths , other characteristic features of park of time of napoléon iii. upper part, bordered boulevard kellermann, 1930s combination of classicism , modernism, cement portico, 2 brick excedres decorated bas-relief sculptures in 1930s style; large parterre , basin; , long tree-lined alleys. upper part of park today offers exceptional views of city, suffers noise of neighboring highway circles paris.
