ny 63 begins @ four-way intersection ny 15 , ny 21 in village of wayland, located in northern steuben county. heads west through village on two-lane west naples street less developed part of town of wayland, parallels interstate 390 (i-390) on north side of wide valley. route enters livingston county , town of north dansville, gaining name main street bends northwestward village of dansville. here, overlaps ny 36 1 block through village center, beginning @ clara barton street , ending @ ossian street. after block, ny 63 meets south end of ny 256 @ perine street. while ny 256 heads north toward conesus lake, ny 63 proceeds northwest past dansville municipal airport , out of village limits.
