coral way begins sw 26th street @ southwest 157th avenue in unincorporated miami-dade county mix of residential street , commercial street. west of homestead extension of florida s turnpike, coral way curves north, becoming sw 24th street passes on turnpike without interchange. continues through unincorporated miami-dade county, intersecting galloway road, interchanging palmetto expressway, , ludlam road, becoming residential east of ludlam road. @ red road (southwest 57th avenue), coral way enters coral gables, becomes 2 lane street, , begins residential stretch of road in coral way covered under natural canopy each side of road made of large oak, mahogany , other hardwood trees. @ south greenway drive/anderson road, exits canopy, trees still lining street, , borders granada golf course 2 blocks before traffic circle turns coral way 1 way westbound street 2 blocks further, eastbound traffic taking segovia street south biltmore way rejoin coral way @ intersection le jeune road (sw 42nd avenue). next half mile, coral way known miracle mile, major east–west road through downtown coral gables. median resumes large date palm trees , flower beds lining center of road. miracle mile ends @ douglas road, coral way leaving coral gables , entering miami, , western terminus of state road 972.
