continuing north town of sparta, ny 63 runs along east side of wide, rural valley surrounding canaseraga creek, ny 36 , i-390 following west side. route reaches town of groveland , hamlet of groveland station, ny 258, connector ny 36, comes in west @ town line. long, open stretch brings route vicinity of village of mount morris, runs closer i-390 , indirectly connects expressway way of ny 408 @ hampton corners. point north, road becomes busier ny 63 primary route village of geneseo northbound traffic on i-390 itself, there no exit @ point expressway crosses under ny 63. i-390 bypasses geneseo southeast while ny 63 heads north toward village, briefly joining u.s. route 20a (us 20a) , ny 39 outside village limits.
