ryota

ryota (良太, ryōta) gnome s grandson. 170 million years ago, burai saved him rock threatened crush him. in present day, while living among humans in secret, ryota takes gnome s key , unseals burai against grandfather s wishes, feels betrayed after seeing how cruel burai has become.

dinosaur eggs

clotho

spirit of life clotho (命の精霊クロト, inochi no seirei kuroto) entity takes on form of childlike being , possesses power of life itself. when zyurangers go suspended animation, burai follows them in own chamber. however, earthquake causes cave burai sleeping collapse, crushing burai death. daizyuzin asks clotho restore burai s life, since person can summon dragon caesar. burai restored life, limited lifespan. shortly after revival , subsequent betrayal of bandora, clotho takes burai lapseless room , gives him beast play sword. clotho tells burai has limited lifespan , leaves him green candle represents time has left. lapseless room chamber time stands still, , every time burai goes out aid brother, candle gradually melts away. after bandora destroys room, goushi , dan attempt water of life guardian, clotho in disguise. reveals water of life, burai s life cannot saved, since has died once. clotho convinces dan , goushi fulfill burai s last wishes giving water boy in hospital burai earlier befriended , save life instead.
