academic decathlon

schreiber s academic decathlon team new york state s winning team 1997 1998 , again 2000 2004. placed second in 2005, first time not attending national competition in 8 years.


recently, in nys competition nationals, 2008 team came in second place while 2010 team came in third.


debate

schreiber s lincoln–douglas debate team nationally dominant 2003 2005, 3 students capturing several national titles. team has since transformed public forum debate team, winning varsity public forum new york state championship in 2009. in april 2011, team came in second place in public forum @ new york state championship. schreiber s debate team once again successful, achieving exemplary results @ princeton classic in 2016.


mock trial

the school s mock trial team competes in annual new york state high school mock trial tournament. schreiber won long island region of state tournament in 1991 , 1996.


in 2008 competition, team advanced round of 16 in regional tournament. team advanced county championship in 2007.


across aisle

beginning in september 2017, former chapter of turning point usa has been renamed , reworked no longer affiliated organization. henceforth known across aisle, political discussion forum encouraging students share , debate views on various current events. goal of club encourage bipartisan thought , thinking among students @ schreiber.
