the prelude continues 33 bars, different harmony , changes of key. coda begins @ 34th bar, sudden change of texture , tempo occurs. in first bar of coda, arpeggiated chord followed rapid succession of thirty-second notes. new motif repeated twice, after succession of sixteenth notes ends prelude on picardy third.
fugue
the fugue 31 bars long, , written 3 voices. below 2 measure subject of fugue, starts in middle voice:

just fugues in baroque period, subject repeated in top voice in dominant key (g minor), , repeated once more in lowest voice, again in home key. fugue continues development, , repetition of subject in home key. prelude, fugue ends picardy third.
