History Hampstead School
the main building on westbere road site of haberdashers’ aske’s hampstead school having relocated hoxton premises in january 1903 , before moving again current location in elstree become haberdashers aske s boys school. hampstead school founded secondary modern in 1961 , incorporated harben secondary modern school in netherwood street, kilburn, before becoming comprehensive. old school s latin motto est emendo; tendo quod macula iocus notitia (to correct faults, give direction , impart knowledge) can still seen on face of main building.
in 2013 jacques szemalikowski, head teacher, reported kinnan zaloom, 19-year-old student established hampstead trash, website critical of school, police , asked zaloom never return school. szemaliskowski said concerned kinnan had mentioned ideologies of anarchism , individualism on blog , had said there inherent risk every government corrupt. school contacted university zaloom planning attend, informing of writings. zaloom no longer operates blog, managed anonymous current students of school.
