schrieber s premier student publication schreiber times. newspaper first established in 1924 @ original port washington high school port weekly. newspaper publishes 24 page monthly issues include sections news, features, opinions, arts , entertainment, , sports. newspaper has been recognized artwork , covers.


the schreiber times has won awards each of 5 sections well-acclaimed sources, including long island newspaper newsday, american scholastic press association, columbia scholastic press association, , empire state school press association.


in 2012, schreiber times launched online version of print paper. there archive of issues of schreiber times , port weekly published since 1924.


adi levin current editor-in-chief, having started in may 2017.


literary magazine

another publication, kaleidoscope, literary magazine featuring poetry, prose, artwork, , photography of schreiber students. has won various awards, including 2 silver medals in columbia scholastic press association s medallist critiques in both 2010 , 2011.

the school produces annual yearbook. yearbook compiled students aid of faculty adviser , called port light.
