Electors United States presidential election in Arizona, 2004



technically voters of arizona cast ballots electors: representatives electoral college. arizona allocated 10 electors because has 8 congressional districts , 2 senators. candidates appear on ballot or qualify receive write-in votes must submit list of 10 electors, pledge vote candidate , or running mate. whoever wins majority of votes in state awarded 10 electoral votes. chosen electors vote president , vice president. although electors pledged candidate , running mate, not obligated vote them. elector votes other or candidate known faithless elector.


the electors of each state , district of columbia met on december 13, 2004 cast votes president , vice president. electoral college never meets 1 body. instead electors each state , district of columbia met in respective capitols.
