nassenerfurth small livable village infrastructure. nassenerfurth had first documentary mention in 1040. there wasserschloss (stately home moat) church 15th century. population 630.


stolzenbach

stolzenbach has 123 inhabitants. stolzenbach pit mined brown coal beginning in 1956. on 1 june 1988, 51 miners killed in coal dust explosion there. abandoned coal pit important site palaeontological finds, notably of turtle species palaeoemys hessiaca , borkenia oschkinisi, former named after hesse, , latter after borken.
